What We Cover
Our editorial focus spans the full identity security domain:
- Authentication - passwordless, passkeys, FIDO2, multi-factor authentication, phishing-resistant credentials, and the evolving landscape of how users and systems prove their identity.
- Authorization - OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, policy engines, fine-grained access control, and the standards and architectures that govern what authenticated principals can do.
- Identity Governance - lifecycle management, access certification, privileged access, machine identity, and the operational practices that keep identity infrastructure secure at scale.
- Zero Trust Architecture - identity as the control plane, continuous authentication, conditional access, and the organizational transformation required to move beyond perimeter-based security.
- Standards and Specifications - IETF drafts, NIST publications, FIDO Alliance specifications, and the technical standards work that shapes identity security practice.
Our Team
The Auth0 World editorial team includes former identity architects, IAM practitioners, and security engineers who have built and operated identity infrastructure at enterprise scale. We write from practitioner experience, not from vendor talking points.
Our contributors have worked across the identity ecosystem - implementing identity platforms, designing authentication flows, building authorization systems, and advising organizations on identity strategy. This practitioner background shapes our editorial approach: technically substantive, operationally grounded, and honest about what works and what does not.
Conference
Auth0 World began as a conference bringing together identity security professionals to share knowledge, discuss emerging challenges, and build community. The conference format combines keynote presentations, technical deep-dive sessions, hands-on workshops, and informal networking.
Conference content is selected for technical depth and practical relevance. We prioritize sessions that share real implementation experience over product demonstrations, and we seek speakers who can speak candidly about both successes and failures.
